I just found this Tribute to George Harrison by some Fellow Wilbury's, and Prince.

I don't know for sure, but I may really just Love this performance a lot!!!

Lotsa cool influences mixed up on that stage. George Harrison's song "While my Guitar Gentle Weeps" (one of my faves). Sort of a Traveling Wilbury's meets Hendrix. Jeff Lynne and Tom Petty(Wilbury's) and Prince ,yes that Prince (Ex-symbol for a name) ,channeling a bit of the Spirit of Jimi. At one point I sorta start to think OK, now he's just showing off ... then I realize uh duuhr no poo poo he CAN Show Off!

Gonna Watch this one again fo' sho'

Have A Gooderun ya'll!!

Great Song, Great Movie and Great Guitar..... I do So declare!! :)

The movie is DESPERADO (...read the credits....they are interesting ).

I do likes me some cheezy Mexican Fare and this movie Just Rocks!!

This song played by LOS LOBOS and Sung by ANTONIO BANDERAS is one of my all time faves even tho I don't speak Spanish. The name of the song is Cancione de el Mariachi (or Something sorta like that).

The guitar in this song for some reason just speaks to me, I can't say it is technically or even emotionally super exceptional it just Speaks to me... go figure.

Andres Segovia... Now for Something Completely Different!

I though a little fancy schmancy guitar might just bring a little class to the joint.

Although totally different than mys usual fare, the talent, skill, and precise feeling is undeniable.

ANDRES SEGOVIA!!!

OOOOOLLLDDD Fleetwood Mac... with Peter Green

Before Buckingham and Nicks, Fleetwood Mac was an awesome Blues/Rock band.

I like the newer FM as well, but this little bit by Green shows what the difference is all about.

Awesome Guitar Work!

Johnny Cash, Clapton and Cream and Carl Perkins!

This clip is cool in so many ways:

1. Clapton, Cash and Perkins all at once.

2. Clapton and Perkins checking each other out during the song (HMMMMM, whats HE doing?)

3. Country/Blues/Rock with big Side order of awesome Guitar Playing....

Dig in.....

Back By Popular ACCLAIM (one was all it took)...RAUL MIDON

As promised Raul Midon with "Pick Somebody Up".

Raul Midon !!You Gotta See It to Beleive It!

Paul Midon is one of the most talented musicians I have seen in a while. I saw him on The Tonight Show recently and was BLOWN AWAY. I normaly skip the Music part of Leno, because either their mix or the massive compression from the local station causes most bands to sound horrible even when they aren't. There are usually one or two instruments you can't hear and the vocal mix almost always sounds horrible.
But this guy came on with a guitar, JUST a guitar and rather quickly captured my complete attention.
I know very little about this artist other than :
1. He is MASSIVELY talented.
2. He doesnt't need a band.
3. He is blind.
4. Did I mention that he is MASSIVELY talented?

The song he played on Leno was different than the one on the video I have and it is equal to this one in all aspects. In fact if you like this one LEMME KNOW, I will post it on here. The other song is titled "Pick Somebody Up" and like this one is musically inspiring and lyrically impressive.

So here he is Raul Midon with "State of Mind":

And OK yeah I know I have been silent awhile but at least for now I am feeling inspired to share.
